I have a passion for working with women, (especially mums), as being a mum myself, I understand the extensive challenges this can bring to our relationships, our physical, emotional and mental health - which often intertwines with food and body challenges.
Many of my clients hold a lot of stress due to carrying the mental load of their families, often experiencing anxiety, depression, mood swings or anger due to their life challenges, including hormonal changes.
They often use food to soothe when they feel these emotions, and experience deep guilt or shame around food and body.
My focus is to support my clients to improve their overall health for the long term, using a kind, supportive, non-judgemental approach.
I offer online consultations via zoom or phone world-wide:
- Get Coached with Em - 1:1 Individual Coaching Package - this 14 week package is available at various times of the year depending on my availability, and
- 12 month Nutrition, Mindset, Stress Reduction - twice a year I open applications to join my group coaching program for women.
I have a free Facebook Community Group for those wanting to get to know me, who want to receive regular support for free, and for those not ready to invest in 1:1 or group coaching.
Qualifications: I gained my Bachelors degree in Health Science (Majoring in Nutrition + Psychology) through Deakin University. I then went on to complete training in emotional eating and eating psychology during covid lockdowns to gain my certification as a Mind Body Nutrition and Eating Coach for Women. I also have my Cert IV in Allied Health: Naturopathic Nutrition, and Cert III in Commercial Cookery.
For the past 15 years I've worked as a Remedial Therapist, having completed both my Cert IV in Massage Therapy & Diploma of Remedial Massage, where I offer Deep Tissue, Remedial, Relaxation, Pregnancy + Aromatherapy Massage at my private clinic in Mount Gambier. I'm currently not taking on new massage clients.
It's been through my work as a massage therapist where I've connected with thousands of women over the years and have had the privilege of listening to them, as they open up and share their challenges with me.
Whether it be issues at work, worries about their children or spouse, in-laws, aging parents or grief and loss, they have trusted me and felt comfortable confiding in me during their treatments.
It's this trust that has led me to continue my studies, and I'm currently completing post graduate studies in counselling.

1. Foundational Nutrition & Mind Body Eating Practices
Incorporating science-based Foundational Nutrition education of fats, carbs, proteins and metabolism, with a focus on Adding In grounding and balancing foods (to your existing meal choices) to elevate your energy, balance your blood sugar and your mood.
The addition of Mind Body Eating practices into your eating experiences: relaxation, mindfulness, breathwork and awareness helps to manage mindless, binge and emotional eating.
2. Stress Reduction, Pleasure & Embodiment Practices
Your stress reduction and embodiment practices focus on you as a whole person, where traditional health practitioners often fall short.
Reducing your stress helps to reduce your cortisol and insulin spikes, and movement practices focus on joyful experiences, as well as keeping your nervous system regulated.
Adding In pleasure practices and joy both to your daily life and to your eating experiences are also a focus here to reduce your stress around food.
3. Structured Intuitive Eating Practices & Long Term Strategy
We now start to introduce more Structured Intuitive Practices such as Permission, Peace & Forgiveness, Positive Body Image, Embracing Hunger and Finding Your Fullness.
We also start a deeper exploration of food quality and powerful substances (sugar/caffeine/alcohol) and experiment with swapping some of these out using my Swap It Don't Stop It Strategy.
We bring all of the concepts together that we've introduced over the 14 weeks, to find your Balance Point moving forward, for long-term success!

My Essentials Oils was my passion project and coping strategy I created during covid lockdown. I'm a local producer of Australian made, organic, 100% pure and natural essential oil blends.
